Pacific Island Studies Candidate: Dr. Maile Arvin, Assistant Professor of Ethnic Studies, University of California Riverside

Maile Arvin, assistant professor of Ethnic Studies at the University of California Riverside, is a Native Hawaiian feminist scholar who writes about settler colonialism, decolonization, and race, gender and science in Hawai’i and the broader Pacific. Her work has been published in American Quarterly, Native American and Indigenous Studies, Critical Ethnic Studies, The Scholar & Feminist, and Feminist Formations.
