Exploring Marriott Library Resources

Join WoCA Collective for a facilitated introduction by Marie Paiva of library resources. Marie is a social sciences librarian at the Marriott Library and works closely with students, faculty and staff.
Location: 5220 – Meet by the double elevators on Level 5. Please bring your laptop/device if you wish to follow along.
This workshop is for any student, staff, or faculty member interested in learning more about the 4.5 million volumes and 2 million content in the digital collections, and how you can access what you need for research.
- We will review database search tips for more efficient results
- Look at helpful Marriott Library services available to you
- Log into Pivot, a newer resource to discover possible funding opportunities
- Examine Scopus and Web of Science databases
- Find some helpful links to Google Scholar
- Following this session, join Marie Paiva for an optional 30-minute tour
