Diversity Scholars Workshop

In today’s political climate, immigrants of color are challenged through racist nativist policies and overt actions from governing officials. Is this a new phenomenon? Or has this been happening over time? How have communities responded? Come learn about racist nativism and how it manifests in past and present political climates.

Liliana Castrellon is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Education, Leadership, and Policy (ELP) at the University of Utah.
