This award is designed to provide a unique leadership stipend for student leaders who are actively involved in building community and cultivating leadership through High School Outreach. Every year, various diversity student groups organize a high school conference engaging thousands of high school students across Utah. The conference is a major platform used to recruit high school students, enhance leadership skills and provide resources for educational opportunities of underrepresented students and youth. Various workshops include: help with admissions, college requirements, degree-specific programs, financial aid & scholarships, career goal setting and culturally relevant presentations on identity.
