Art Aloud!

September 24 @ 12:00 pm 1:00 pm MDT

Art aloud! Virtual Open Mic, Sept 24, 12 - 1 pm

Many of us are still finding ways to cope with all that is happening in the world that is outside of our control – and for many of us, writing has been one of them. For six years, UHealth has been hosting Art Aloud!, an open mic event where anyone can read a piece of their original writing, or a piece that may have moved them. Though we haven’t been able to safely do them in person, Art Aloud! continues virtually.

Our September 24, 2021 event will include a special reading from Ali Etman, MD, University of Utah School of Medicine 2020 graduate, and his published children’s book, Love Is.

U of U healthcare professionals, students, faculty, patients, and family members are invited to read.  All forms of spoken art are welcome; we simply ask that they are five minutes or less in length (~ 750 words). You also are welcome as our listening audience.

To join, please register for our event and you will be sent the Zoom link and log in information: Registration is required.

Join us for friendly company and the positive energy that comes from sharing experiences during these uncertain times.
