LGBT History Month: Movie Screening and Panel

Join UPC & the LGBT Resource Center for a special event on October 26th celebrating LGBT History Month! Viewing of the film Pariah is available to watch all day (Film Rated ‘R’), then a virtual panel discussion from 7pm-8pm surrounding the film and topics including: gender, gender expression, sexuality, race, and intersectionality.

There will also be FREE Destress Care Kits available for pickup from the Union Services Desk!

Pariah Synopsis: Teenage Alike lives in Brooklyn’s Fort Greene neighborhood with her parents and younger sister. A lesbian, Alike quietly embraces her identity and is looking for her first lover, but she wonders how much she can truly confide in her family, especially with her parents’ marriage already strained. When Alike’s mother presses her to befriend a colleague’s daughter, Alike finds the gal to be a pleasant companion. (Source: Google)
