The Day of Disability and Neurodiversity is a new addition to EDI’s annual events to recognize the impact of those who are disabled in our campus community and facilitate discussions on resources and ways to improve access for those who are marginalized by their disability.
In this event for the Day of Disability and Neurodiversity, a panel of campus experts will provide brief overviews and demonstrations of basic accessibility practices for web design, social media posts, and event planning.
As part of the Day of Disability & Neurodiversity, this event will feature a roundtable discussion followed by a networking session where two important topics will be explored: living with nonapparent disabilities, and neurodivergence and neurodiversity.
