Celebrating Indigenous Culture

J. Willard Marriott Library - Level 1 Exhibition Space 295 S 1500 E, Salt Lake City

For the month of November, in celebration of Native American Heritage Month, visit the displays on level 1 of the J. Willard Marriott Library (near the Cafe). This exhibition seeks to amplify Indigenous voices and highlight and celebrate the diverse and rich culture of Native American people.

Migratory Monsters: The Body and Horror

Please join us for this upcoming series of conversations "Migratory Monsters," which investigates horror tropes and their relevance to storying diaspora, along with several facets of identity. Migratory Monsters fosters creative dialogues surrounding themes of gender, race, sexuality, and transnationality within the horror genre, and will feature various artists, some including University of Utah students and professors. The conversations will be free and open to the public.

Taking Up Space

Taking Up Space focuses on building support and awareness to overcome and dismantle toxic messages aimed at and against women’s bodies.
