The mission of the American Indian Resource Center (AIRC) at the University of Utah is to advocate for American Indian and Alaskan Native students through recruitment and retention projects that lead to graduation. The AIRC serves as a vital link between American Indian and Alaskan Native students; the University; and the larger community.

The Black Faculty and Staff Association (BFSA) is dedicated to promoting the full inclusion of Black faculty, staff, and students at the University of Utah. Our mission is to advocate progress through the promotion of critical dialogue, networking, recruitment and retention of Black individuals, professional development, mentoring, and cultural programs that emphasize the traditions of the African-American community.

The LGBT Resource Center seeks to provide a safe environment for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members to promote, educate, and develop programs centering on sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression. The center provides a comprehensive range of education, information and advocacy services, and works to create and maintain an open, safe, and supportive environment for LGBT students, staff, faculty, alumni, and the entire campus community.

Office of Undergraduate Studies

The Office of Undergraduate Studies is charged with helping implement the University's educational mission. It does this by: maintaining, in cooperation with departments and colleges, general education and bachelor degree requirement courses; assisting students as they transition to the University from high school or other educational institutions; establishing new degree programs and reviewing existing programs for quality and coherence; providing administrative support for the various centers, colleges, programs, and resources; and administering a variety of faculty and student awards and scholarships.
