Diversity Scholars and the Honors College are partnering to increase participation of underrepresented students in the Honors program.

Fall 2015

The Honors College assigned a staff member to work with Diversity Scholars/Honors students and two sections of Honors Writing 2011 (10 spots per section) were designated for Diversity Scholars students.

Fall 2016

The sections and spots in Writing 2011 were held for Diversity Scholars and have been held since.

Summer 2019

Both the Center for Ethnic Student Affairs’ First-Year Experience Coordinator and Honors College lead transitioned out of their positions. The vacancies are currently being reevaluated to best support the needs to expand this initiative.
