Operation SUCCESS

Operation SUCCESS (Students United to Create Cultural and Educational Success Stories) powered by George Floyd Memorial Fund is a competitive, application-based program with a focus on nurturing future leaders and empowering effective problem-solving skills at the University of Utah and the greater Salt Lake community. By becoming Black Cultural Center ambassadors, exploring a sense of belonging at a Predominantly White Institution (PWI), and gaining leadership skills through our academic yearlong bootcamp, SUCCESS fellows can be nurtured in becoming our communities’ next great leaders. Leaders in Operation SUCCESS will learn organizational design from the top and how to change it. We aim to develop leaders that are ethical and justice-oriented.

Goals

  • Nurture and inspire the next generation of Black leaders at the U
  • Empower effective problem-solving skills and supply valuable work experience
